We provide young men and women who have dropped out of high school an opportunity to earn their diploma and get a foot in the door of a trade program.
We help underrepresented populations, businesses, and communities. Our major focus is on serving young adults and giving them a chance to succeed.
16 to 24 year-olds
Individuals who have aged out of foster care
We believe that providing individuals with education and workforce experience creates a sense of purpose and hope that reverberates throughout the community.
Over the years, we have reached a number of milestones that benefit our students:
-Articulation agreements for 47 college credits
-The ability to offer a Department of Labor registered -Apprenticeship Readiness Certificate
-A registered pre-apprenticeship program
-Articulated agreements for direct entry into the trade unions
-Health and wellness programs
-Cyber education, including Chromebooks and Hotspots for all
Because we help youth earn their diplomas and GEDs, we primarily operate with the Community Service Employment Training programs of business and industry and within the social services sector.
YouthBuild programs provide those pathways by unleashing the positive energy of low-income young people to rebuild their communities and their lives, breaking the cycle of poverty with a commitment to work, education, community, and family.
